SOUL bistro

Soul Bistro, our heart, our first venture, has been part of Brno’s food scene since 2014. After ten years, it moved to one of the oldest houses in Brno, on Jakubská Street.

The idea was to create a welcoming space where you can drop in for brunch or lunch and end up staying a little longer. A place you will not rush away from, whether you come alone, as a pair or with a group of friends.

We wanted to bring the flavours we enjoy on our travels into both the food and the atmosphere, and connect them with honest home cooking. It is up to you whether you choose a lighter brunch, a salad or our hummus, or go for bestsellers such as Fish & Chips, Fried Rice or Udon noodles. Half the menu is vegetarian or vegan, and we also cater for people with coeliac disease. For us, seasonality is more than a cliché: it is a value that keeps us moving forward.

When you want a break from the bustle of the centre, our courtyard garden and outdoor bar are also there for you in season. For private parties, we can offer a separate room or a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces.

We are determined to live up to the motto that has been with us from the very beginning, “live to eat, not eat to live”, and we will be happy to share it with you.
